The Citizen Manifesto
A comprehensive vision for a devolved, transparent, and participatory Kenya. Built by the people, for the people.
Our Shared Vision
Chama Cha Mimi na Wewe is founded on the belief that the sovereignty of Kenya belongs to the people. Our manifesto is not a set of top-down promises, but a framework to return decision-making power to every household, ward, and constituency. We envision a nation where digital enablement, constitutional integrity, and structural accountability drive prosperity.
Key Pillars of Our Manifesto
Absolute Devolution & Citizens’ Veto
Devolution is the cornerstone of constitutional governance. We advocate for increasing county budget allocations to 35% of national revenue, while instituting a direct electronic voting system at the Ward level for public participation in project funding.
Digital Economy & Civic Tech
Leveraging technology to stamp out public corruption and create employment. We propose an open-ledger tracking system for all public tenders, ensuring every government coin spent is visible to the public. Furthermore, we aim to fund community innovation hubs in all 290 constituencies.
Agricultural Modernization & Food Security
Eliminating middlemen by establishing direct county-coordinated markets and digitized supply chains for smallholder farmers. Guaranteed minimum return (GMR) policies for maize, tea, coffee, and dairy to protect farmers from market volatility.
Judicial Independence & Administrative Justice
Fully financing the Judiciary to clear the backlog of cases, and enforcing strict timelines on the resolution of commercial and public interest cases. Public officers who ignore court orders will face immediate personal liability.
